The last four months were full of highlights for us at FORTE. A few are summarised below for your reading pleasure.

Our beloved Mica who had been with us way too long – 3 years! – finally found her new forever home and now lives on a farm in Colorado with many other animals as her new best mates. Desmond got adopted, too, and he enjoys hanging out and playing with his new little sister, Grace. And a young couple fell in love with Dozer, a Bully Breed. They adopted him in the record time of less than a month since he had joined our Outreach program. 

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar in Santa Monica offered a great opportunity to donate money to FORTE while enjoying drinks and live music during their Happy Hour. This was a great little event, and everyone who  came along had a great time! We wish to repeat in similar form in the not-too-distant future. FORTE friends and volunteers proudly strutted their mutts during Strut Your Mutt 2010. We’ve raised over $3,400 – thanks to everyone who helped us in our efforts!
